Course Description
Large-scale web search systems, social networks, and online commerce systems have emerged as the results of advancements in computer science and the Internet. Social network analysis investigate the static and dynamic network structure and interactions between entities based on big data obtained from the online social networks. Learn basic graph and network theories and apply the theories to large scale real networks. Topics include small world phenomena, random network, information diffusion, community and cluster analysis.
